Laura Grossett

So jeal of Laura Grossett.

Laura was an undergrad the same time I was but part of the older and wiser clan (a senior while I was a junior) and I always was so jeal that I smell when I saw her work.

Her work applies different mediums inspired by the concept of the organic, generally in decay.

She is now working on her masters and is expecting to graduate this year. Check out her website but make sure not to drivel on your keyboard.

Matthew Sage

So jeal of my main man, Matthew Sage.

Matt has one impressive resume and I always wonder how he has the time to do the things he does.  It's probably that he is constantly doing something.  His drowsy-dark collages and glass work give me goose pimples down to my knees. Plus the man really knows how to use a photo copier.

If his flyness couldn't get more fly he also runs a cassette tape label, Patient Sounds, plays in the band M.Pyres, and has a solo project Starling Murmurations

This guy needs a nap.

Elena Stonaker

Elena Stonaker is my twinster sweetster who I am so jeal of.

I wouldn't doubt if Elena would save the world via feathers and sequins one day.

She'll be in Brooklyn this next week for the 11th annual Renegade Craft Fair. If you're in the area you should really check out all the octopus, turtle, and swirly women she has for sale.

Grant Souders

Can I be so jeal of my best friend? Grant Souders is probably the easiest to be so jeal of.

Not only is Grant great at collaging and drawing he also is an incredible poet.

He recently had a poem published in Phoebe Journal, Early in the Field, and is currently about to make his way to the Writer's Workshop at The University of Iowa.

I'm gonna miss that man.
